The rapper declined to address reports of a high-profile meeting. When pressed, he cited a scheduling conflict.

LAS VEGAS — Joseph Edgar Foreman, known to the world as Afroman, arrived in Las Vegas on Thursday — four days before Bitcoin 2026 opens at The Venetian Resort — and by all accounts has been making excellent use of the time.
Today is April 20th. Afroman is in Las Vegas. The conference starts Monday. These facts are related.
Foreman's legal victory came in March, when an Adams County, Ohio jury found him not liable on all 13 counts in a defamation case brought by seven sheriff's deputies who raided his home in 2022 and found nothing. He had turned the raid footage into a music video, made merchandise, and released an entire album — 'Lemon Pound Cake' — mocking the incident. The jury deliberated less than a day. He walked out of the courthouse in an American flag suit. The suit will be displayed as gallery art at Bitcoin 2026 under the exhibition title 'Relics of a Revolution.'
His keynote address Monday is expected to cover financial sovereignty and First Amendment protections. His new album, 'Freedom of Speech,' drops this month. He is currently on a 30-plus-date national tour. Tickets remain available in most markets.

OBTAINED BY SPOTLIGHT DISPATCH — Actual crime scene footage from the August 2022 raid on Afroman's Ohio residence. The deputies have seen it. They sued over it. They lost.
It is the rumors about next week, however, that have drawn the most attention.
Sources with knowledge of the Bitcoin 2026 guest list say that a second high-profile individual — described by two people as 'a former head of state' — is expected to be in the building during the conference window. Neither Bitcoin 2026 organizers nor the individual's office have confirmed or denied attendance.

Afroman is a confirmed keynote speaker at Bitcoin 2026, opening April 27 at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. He arrived Thursday. The conference does not start until Monday. Sources say he is making the most of the time.
As for what the two men may be planning, sources offer competing theories. One person described it as 'a creative project — musical in nature.' A second source said they had heard something about a joint business venture in the cannabis wellness space, possibly a co-branded THC product line. A third source, when asked, said only: 'Yes.' They were asked to clarify. They said: 'Both.'
When a reporter attempted to ask Afroman directly about whether he was aware of these reports, and whether any meeting had been arranged, Afroman reportedly listened to the full question.
He paused.
He said he would like to remember.

When asked about rumors of a scheduled meeting with a former U.S. president, Afroman reportedly paused for a long moment and said he would like to remember — but he got high. He did not elaborate.
But then he got high.
He did not elaborate. The reporter did not follow up. It was 4/20 in Las Vegas and everyone agreed this was a reasonable response.
We don't usually do this. We hate to even bring it up. But a man won a defamation lawsuit against seven sheriff's deputies, showed up to court in an American flag suit, and someone made a shirt about it. It is a real shirt. It is on Amazon. All proceeds go to free speech — or at minimum to the general concept of it. If you believe in what happened in that Ohio courtroom, the image below is clickable. We're not your mother. We're just saying.

What They Left Out
A source present at the time said the pause before Afroman's answer lasted approximately six seconds.
They were asked if he seemed evasive.
They said he seemed like a man who had just won a lawsuit against seven police officers and was currently in Las Vegas on 4/20 ahead of a Bitcoin keynote.
'He did not seem evasive,' the source said. 'He seemed like he was exactly where he wanted to be.'
The former head of state has not commented.
The second floor of The Venetian has not yet been secured.
